George V. Lopez
"The Director"
As a first-time documentary director, George V. López is proud to tell a South Florida story that is unique and filled with the eclectic sounds of his father's native Cuba. It is no surprise that López's expertise lies in sound editing, design and mixing. He has worked in the sound department on more than 10 short films over the last four years. In addition, he worked on the set of series such as Nickelodeon Latin America's I Am Frankie and the Netflix original series Bloodline. López has also worked on two Suncoast Regional Emmy® Award-winning versions of Video Game Concert for Miami Dade College. López is a student at Miami Dade College in the Bachelor of Applied Science program in Film, Television and Digital Production. He is set to graduate in 2019.

Michael J.L. Mechoso
"Co-Director/Director of Photography"
A Miami native of Cuban and Italian descent, Michael Mechoso prefers to take a holistic approach in the filmmaking process. His incredible talent for viewing things from different perspectives makes him more of a creative rather than just focusing on one particular aspect of production. Best known for his roles as a post-production master and lighting genius, Mr. Mechoso joins Conjunto Universal as co-director, director of photography, and editor. His story ideas elevated the production to a higher level, while his work behind the camera provides viewers with stunning visuals that will take their breath away. Prior toConjunto Universal, Mechoso co-directed and edited the music video for “Where Nobody Goes” by The Worries. He also served as editor on the talk show Made In Dade. In addition, he has enjoyed success launching a string of businesses including the high school basketball organization HoopMIA, among many others. Because of his ability to see the whole picture, Mechoso remains in high demand in South Florida's production industry.

Johannes Quiles
"The Producer"
A native of South Florida, Johannes Quiles produced Conjunto Universal. Prior to this project, he produced web series Love Siempre Es... (2018), where he had a dual role as first assistant director. Throughout his production career, Quiles has worked on more than 20 short films with additional experience in television. With a background in public relations, Quiles started his career in corporate communications at Viacom International Media Networks, representing brands in Latin America such as MTV, Nickelodeon and VH1. In addition, he has worked at the Walt Disney World Resort and for retail brands Macy's and Neiman Marcus. He briefly resided in the Boston area before returning to South Florida in 2015. Quiles is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Film, Television and Digital Production from Miami Dade College. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Communication from the University of Miami.
